Wikiscanner fun
Written by Rob on August 30, 2007 – 2:23 pm -Someone at the Department of Justice is pretty convinced that federal judge Alex Kozinski, noted for his libertarian streak, and one of my personal hopes for a future Supreme Court justice, loves a gay ’swinger’ lifestyle, adding that to his Wikipedia page, not once, but twice!
A lot of the edits are pretty fair, such as the only edit found from the DOJ for Bill Clinton’s entry.
More interesting is the huge amount of edits for Casey Serin, 30+ between March and the end of July. Serin is a real estate speculator and blogger who in July disclosed that he is under investigation by the FBI. Edits like this one look like the DOJ trying his case in the court of public opinion, and it sure seems someone there has made up their mind about Serin and what he has or has not done.
The list of edits for the USDOJ IP ranges even includes four for Alberto Gonzales, which, unfortunately, could not be more boring. 2 of them change his middle name from Remora to an abbreviated R, one of them adds a period that R, and another removes an extraneous ‘the’ from the page. Where’s the fun in that?

The justice person who kept editing Casey Serin was probably R-Boy. One of the haterz who tried to keep Wikipedia relatively unbiased and free from the snark that was in Caseypedia.com. R-Boy is not part of any FBI prosecution.
